HORNETS' keeper Paul Seuke was the only player to emerge from yesterday's defeat to Tonbridge Angels with any credit, according to a frustrated boss John Maggs.

Only a string of fine saves from the Horsham stopper limited the score line to 3-0 in what was a disappointing team performance.

"I thought our goal keeper was superb today, you've got to pin a medal on him really for his display", said Maggs after the game.

"To be fair to the lad he got a dead leg in the first half but carried on and was our only player who did well."

Seuke made several blocks in the first half and then somehow managed to keep out a goal bound header from Fraser Logan with an incredible reach at 1-0, before again saving Horsham's blushes late on.

Maggs called the performance one of the worst of the season after Tonbridge narrowed the gap on the Hornets to just one point, and warned that new players would be brought in for next season if there was no improvement in the last six games.
