Maggs questions free kick decision

FRUSTRATED Horsham boss John Maggs believes the free kick which Dover grabbed their late winner from in last night's 2-1 defeat should not have been given.
Horsham were on course for a battling point after Jacob Mingle's first half goal was cancelled out by Jon Wallis' 30-yard strike, but in the 86th minute Andrew Howard was harshly adjudged to have committed a foul on the edge of the box and Wallis tucked it away.
"It shouldn't have been a free kick," said a disappointed Maggs.
"Andy Howard was having his shirt tugged and the free kick was given against him."
Paul Seuke came under intense pressure in the Horsham goal in the second half, but the visitors looked like grinding out the draw until Wallis' drilled effort snuck under the otherwise outstanding goalkeeper.
