HORSHAM manager John Maggs said he was happy with his team's first 'home' game at Woodside Road against Blue Square Premier outfit Eastbourne Borough.

Two goals in the last three minutes denied Horsham a deserved draw against the team two divisions higher after Lee Farrell had equalised midway through the second half.
"Bearing in mind we were without our two centre midfield players Lee Carey and Jacob Mingle I was quite happy with our performance," Maggs said.
"It was hard on us to concede two late goals but over the period of the game we passed the ball well and had good movement."
Maggs named a number of 'outstanding performances' including Lee Carey playing in centre midfield, goalkeeper Paul Seuke and left back Russell Eldridge, but singled out young centre back Sam Page for special praise.
"Sam Page is on a different planet, he's just awesome," he enthused.
"He didn't waste the ball once, he comes out of defence well and he's blending well with Eddie French which is going to be important for us."
Maggs also said the club were yet to sign striker Reggie Savage who he said had 'impressed' while on trial, and hoped to make a decision after the Lewes game on Thursday.
