A DEFIANT John Maggs insists Horsham can still make the playoffs this season after watching his side slump to a 1-0 defeat against Billericay at Woodside Road last night.

Just 134 supporters turned out to watch the match settled by Joe Flack's 85th minute goal and means Billericay leap frog Horsham, who lie 12th and nine points behind a playoff position.

"The playoffs are very much still in our hands," Maggs insisted.

"We've got a big December where we play all the top sides and if we pick up points against the top sides we will be bang in there.

"You turn the year, all it needs is a couple of wins and you're smack in there again, so we won't give up."
