STEYNING manager Mark Dalgleish was delighted to win 2-1 at Loxwood on Saturday.
The hosts started the brighter but Steyning took an early lead through Chris Duffett, and they then doubled their advantage on 17 minutes through a James Davis header.
Craig Grantham pulled one back before half time and Loxwood piled on the pressure in the second half, but the hosts couldn't get on level terms and Steyning took the points.
