JOE FLACK'S 85th minute goal gave Billericay a 1-0 win at Woodside Road and means Horsham have now not won in three league games.
Billericay had the better of the first 45 minutes but Horsham went close through Williams Pearoux and and Russell Eldridge half volley just tipped over the bar.
Horsham pushed forward and had plenty of possession without creating many clear chances in the second half, and a second draw looked almost certain until substitute Flack spun and found the bottom corner.
90 (+2): Horsham have a free kick inside their own half. Goal keeper Tolfrey pumps it into the box, the header clear comes to Nwachukwu but he drags it wide.
90 mins: It's all a bit panicy for Horsham as they pump high balls over the top in search of the equaliser. There can't be long left.
YELLOW CARD: Mark Knee is carded for a challenge on the keeper.
85 mins: GOAL FOR BILLERICAY: Substitute Joe Flack looks to have won the game for the visitors late on. It came from a corner which was never properly clear. It was played into the feet of Flack, who had time to turn and find the bottom left corner. 1-0
83 mins: Rob Tolfrey makes an amazing double save to keep the score level. First he denies Bricknell from the right and then from the rebound he somehow keeps out Joe Flack.
Horsham sub: Anthony Acheampong comes on for Lee Farrell. It's a straight swap and the big defender will try his luck up top.
80 mins: Horsham have a free kick far on the left 35 yards out. Carey bends a high on into the box which Turner punches out, it falls to Page who spins on the edge of the box, but his shot clears the bar.
77 mins: Horsham sub: The ineffectual Evan Archibald is replaced by Tony Nwachukwu. The pacey youngster comes onto the right and Farrell partners Siggy up front.
YELLOW CARD: Billericay's Ashley Dumus goes into the book for a nasty swipe at Lee Farrell, who goes down injured clutching his right leg.
74 mins: Flacks second touch is to head into the net but the linesman's flad is raised and it wont count.
73 mins: Jacob Mingle carelessly gives the ball straight to Bricknell just outside the Horsham area, he cuts back for Joe Flack but the substitute scuffs his first touch when he should have scored.
Billericay sub: Joe Flack comes on for Rikki Burbridge.
70 mins: Billericay sub: Surprisingly the number seven Steven Ferguson has been replaced by Bradley Wood-Garness. Eldridge will be glad to see the back of him.
Horsham are trying to be positive but nothing is quite coming off at the moment. They are starting to just about get a foothold in the game though.
60 mins: This time it's Eldidge's turn to whip a peach of a pass across to the head of Haddow, Duncan allows the ball to bounce in the box but he manages to just about clear for the visitors.
58 mins: Horsham are starting to put some pressure on with crosses into the box by Haddow and then Carey. Siggy flicks one one but Mingle just can't get there.
56 mins: A delightful crossfield ball by Carey picks out Haddow, who steps inside his man and leaves it for Pearoux to shoot, but it's well over.
53 mins: Rob Tolfrey does well to palm Ferguson's low cros/shot wide, it's not cleared though but eventually he gathers.
52 mins: Evan Archibald is clattered in the back by Steve Heffer. Eldridge bends the free kick towards goal and Siggy rises to flick a header on but it drifts wide.
50 mins: Better football from Horsham, the ball is shifted to Mingle, but his shot from 30 yards is only going to score points playing American football.
48 mins: Horsham haven't woken up yet this half. Noone even challenges a corner which falls straight to Lynval Duncan, but the defender makes a mess of it from three yards.
47 mins: Oh dear Mingle did not want to give the ball away to Furguson. He is full of running and out sprints Knee, then goes past Page cutting into the box, he cuts back to Bricknell who scuffs his shot.
IT'S 0-0 at half time between Horsham and Billericay at Woodside Road in a match which has so far only threatened to burst into life.
The visitors have just shaded the better chances, Steven Furguson's free kick and a Rikki Burbridge header going just wide and Lee Carey clearing one off the line.
Williams Pearoux tested Tony Tucker from the edge of the area and Russell Eldridge had the best Horsham effort from a half volley which the stopper just tipped over the bar.
43 mins: Horsham's best effort by a mile. Russell Eldridge puts a corner in the box which bounces off someones head, it is eventually clear out to him 30 yards out and his half volley is just tipped over the bar by Tucker. Another Eldridge causes more mayhem in the Billericay box, this time Carey just can't get a toe on it from six yards. Better from the green and yellows.
It's been a very quite ten minutes, no chances for either team...Don't tell me we're in for another boring 0-0 draw!
Pearoux has made a quite start to his full debut so far apart from his early effort, Jacob Mingle is doing most of the running in the middle so far.
29 mins: Carey gives the ball away but Eldridge halts the break away with a foul. Furguson goes for goal from distance and Tolfrey pulls off one for the cameras.
27 mins: Alex Haddow forces a corner which he swings in with his left foot. It's headed clear but only as far as Page to chest and volley, but just wide of goal.
25 mins: Furguson gets a lucky break when the ball cannons off Knee's heel, he cuts it back for Billy Bricknall, who tries a curler from the edge of the box but gets it all wrong.
18 mins: Furguson's pace down the Billericay right is going to be a real threat. He again takes on Mark Knee and delivers a cross but noone is there to challenge.
Maggs warned that Billericay would be no pushovers and they have definately started the better. They are closing the Hornets down quickly and looking bright in the final third.
14 mins: More danger for Horsham as the ball pings around the box and shots come in from Domer and Adrian Dean which are blocked.
It's very quite here at Woodside Road, this looks to be the smallest crowd of the season. Surely the crowds haven't stayed at home to watch Chelsea??
10 mins: Chance for Billericay. Furguson gets his cross in to the back post for Riki Burbridge to outjump Carey at the back post, but his header across goal goes just wide. The corner comes out to Jamie Domer on the edge of the area, his shot is destined for the bottom corner but Carey is there to block on the line.
5 mins: Nervy moment at the back for Horsham. A free kick is bent into the box and Russell Eldridge completely misses it, but the ball bounces just wide to the relief of Tolfrey who was rooted to the spot.
4 mins: Williams Pearoux has a good effort at goal which Tony Tucker has tos tretch to keep out. The corner is played to the near post but Lee Carey prods it wide.
3 mins: Furguson again gets clear on the right, uses his pace to sprint past Page and as he moves into the box tries to lift the ball over Tolfrey, but he keeps it out.
1 min: Billericay kick off from left to right and Steven Furguson beats the offside trap but Sam Page gets in a good block.
WILLIAMS PEAUROUX makes his first start for Horsham as John Maggs' men try to get their league season back on track against struggling Billericay.
Anthony Acheampong has a knee injury and starts on the bench, Russell Eldridge comes into the centre of defence alongside captain Sam Page.
Maggs has warned of the threat of Billericay team who have more ability than they have so far shown.
