FRAN CROSSLEY struck a brace to keep Horsham in the hunt for a place in the National Leagues as they beat Holcombe 4-2.

Horsham went into a one goal lead when Crossley struck after 13 minutes, but the visitors struck back through Marlise joubert.

A breathtaking spell of action around the half hour mark saw three goals scored in four minutes. First, Siobhan Henn netted from a penalty corner, Joubert hit back two minutes later, only for Erica Rogers to make it 3-2 with a 35th minute goal.

Crossley's 55th minute strike from a penalty corner was the only action in the second half as Horsham closed out the win.

The Reds now face three games in three days over the Bank Holiday weekend to decide their fate, they currently sit third in the qualifying group.
