Boules club aim for national quarter finals

A BOULES club based in Kirdford will play in the last 16 of a national competition this Saturday (January 24) for the chance to represent England in the prestigious European Cup for clubs.

Amities Boules Club, who play at the Foresters Arms, will take on Kent side Lordswood Petanque Club for a place in the quarter finals at their home venue in Kidford starting at 1.30pm.

If they win the competition, the club will get the chance to face the winners from other countries in the European Cup.
