Record-breaking walking races
A RECORD breaking turnout attended the 25th annual Steyning Primary Schools Walking Races on Saturday (March 8).
More than 170 pupils took part in this year's walking race held at St Andrew's Primary School in Shooting Field despite a forecast of wind and rain.
This was a relief for organisers who feared race attendance was slowly declining as happened for the traditional Easter Monday walking race which has been cancelled this year.
