I write to give a warm thank you to everyone behind the scenes at Horsham District Council in organising such a fabulous day for all on Monday June 4.
It appeared to me that all the many events at the three centres ran like clockwork and should be a regarded as a template for Horsham and other towns to use when holding future major events.
The town was heaving with people for most of day and everyone seemed to be having a good time.
I did like the idea of the three separate events representing the different eras of the Queens rule.
Music and the wonderful classic cars at The Carfax (50s-60s), by Shelley’s fountain (70s-80s) and the Forum (90s-00s).
Looking forward to the 75th!
