WITH all the bad publicity around our care homes may the good homes, and I’m sure there are many, get a mention.
My very dearly loved cousin, Winnie Hawkins, passed away recently at the age of 92 at Honeywood House Nursing Home after four years as a resident.
Her treatment and care were exemplary. She was loved and cared for by the most dedicated staff, a nursing home run by Margaret Cutler to the highest standard and Winnie was very happy and loved the staff.
I visited Winnie twice a week for the four years she was there and never a single complaint – Winnie needed full nursing care following a serious stroke.
Thank you Honeywood House Nursing Home for showing how it should be done, lovely staff, each and every one of you.
