Ragwort at castle

Have your say

I DO NOT know who was responsible for the article ‘Knepp Castle clean up’ in the County Times of August 25, but they have been sadly misinformed.

While walking on a footpath through the land on August 27 I saw field after field of ragwort blowing in the breeze.

The Exmore ponies I saw have nothing else to eat, as there is precious little non toxic fodder for them, the long horns and deer included. We know ragwort causes liver damage to horses.

So perhaps ‘cleansed is not the word that springs to mind.
