LETTER: Thought for Easter

Have your say

Wherever you find yourself, ask, how did I get here? Where did I come from originally? Where am I going next?

This helps us understand our Easter. The one we celebrate says ‘my kingdom is not of this world’, that also meant he was a stranger on Earth.

Observe your neighbours and you will find some from Far East, others Africa/Caribbean or Other Europeans. Mankind as a social being are always moving in search of one thing or another and this leaves us as strangers at some point.

In a recent BBC news report, one man was asked why he took such high risk to his life via escape by sea.

He said: ‘‘If I remain, I die, if I enter sea, I may die, but all of it results in death.’’

There’s so much troubles round the globe that young and old are forced to be strangers all over.

Whoever you are, know this ‘Truth’. ‘All of us are strangers, pilgrims and sojourners on Earth’.

So where is our homeland? Think on this.
