WSCC has reduced access times for its amenity waste tips, while HDC is moving towards alternate week landfill bin collections.

We can only assume that they have balanced the cost savings against the additional cost of clearing up fly-tipping and of prosecuting those responsible.

Perhaps we can see the trend in fly-tipping costs, so that we can see how wise the two councils have been with their joined up thinking!
