To the dismay of the Rev Nick Flint, the bishops maintain that ‘marriage in church should be only between a man and a woman and services should not be held to bless same-sex relationships’. Has it really come to that?

Despite efforts on the part of Flint and others to delegitimise the traditional teachings of the Church, the laws of God have not changed. Perhaps it is the apostate clergy, not the Church, which is ‘dithering’ and ‘always evolving’.

The Church of England must press on in its efforts to preserve the ancient Judeo-Christian principles which have been the bedrock of the Church for two thousand years. A wise man once observed: “Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.”
