OK I give in! What does ‘Quam hos nimus, etem est? O tili, peribes scibusu ssenata tiliceperum tervirid suitorrum ditium hilla vil vil verorte, nocchil icatum eo, ne inarbi et atis vit? Porbite rvigilis, cupio menam mo proricae pliem. Ilissul lartius senicas obus?’ translate as?

I hesitated about asking for an explanation but thought hoc volo, sic iubeo, sit pro ratione voluntas. Is it perhaps a locus classicus?

KEN WILLMER

Editor’s note: our apologies for a technical failure which led to a photo caption being presented in random Latin text on page 22 of the County Times of July 23. The caption should have read: Michael Wilson, chief executive of the Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (SASH).
