LETTER: Generous help for hospital

In response to Mr Harper's letter (published 19th January 2017), where he expressed deep gratitude to his local hospital and launched an online campaign to boost healthcare services under pressure, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks for his extremely generous donation of £1,000.

Mr Harper’s support of both Love Your Hospital and Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is greatly appreciated and we will make sure his donation goes to St Richard’s hospital as he requested.

Love Your Hospital is the dedicated charity for the Trust and we provide vital funds to support our three hospitals; St Richard’s in Chichester, Worthing and Southlands Hospitals. It is with the support of kind and passionate people like Mr Harper that our charity is able to enhance local NHS services, outside of core Government funding, and truly make a difference to those in our care.

Every donation, large or small, will help our charity to enable staff to provide the outstanding healthcare we all need, fund the very latest equipment and ensure patients have access to the best and most modern facilities.

On behalf of Love Your Hospital, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank readers for their support.

Lizzie Peers
