Dance challenge to save children

I’m really excited that Horsham YMCA is taking part in Save the Children’s exciting dance fundraiser - The Ultimate Dance Challenge - and I’d love for you to come along and join our fun-filled day.

On Sunday October 14 at Horsham YMCA, Gorings Mead, we’ll be dancing for five hours and raising money to save children’s lives around the world.

If you don’t fancy dancing for the whole five hours, you’re welcome to come along and join in for as long as you want to.

All you have to do is ask your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you, and then get those dancing shoes on!

We have local dance instructors, from Zumba instructors to Bollywood and Street Dance instructors, giving up their time free of charge for such a great cause.

The event will run 1pm to 6pm at Horsham YMCA sports and community club in Gorings Mead off Brighton Road and is open to all ages.

As an added bonus, if our group raises over £300 collectively, we’ll be entered into a prize draw for four people to win afternoon tea with Arlene Phillips, West End choreographer and TV personality, in London’s luxury 5-star Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, where she’ll share her top dance tips.

The money you raise by dancing for five hours will help children across the world survive their vulnerable first five years.

Every year 7.6m children under five die from easily preventable causes like pneumonia and malnutrition.

Save the Children already saves thousands of lives around the world and you can help them save many more.

I hope you’ll join us as we take on The Ultimate Dance Challenge for Save the Children.
