Our children’s bus route was taken back in-house by West Sussex County Council two weeks ago - in an effort to save funds.
Last Monday our children’s school had an in-set day, however, the new WSCC bus turned up and the kindly driver was surprised to hear that he was not required. This never once happened under the previous sysem.
It is astounding that the same council which sets the term dates and the required staff training days cannot seem to manage a corresponding bus service. Is it a case of “all out all change?”
Or is there a wealth of bus and transport logisitic experience at WSCC?
