The Horsham Charity Card Shop is now open at Horsham Museum in the Causeway from 10am to 4.45pm Monday to Saturday until Friday December 21.
There is a splendid choice of great value cards displayed for sale from 18 charities in the peaceful surroundings of the museum.
A lovely snowy scene of tobogganing in Horsham’s Causeway and another of Christmas lights in the Carfax have been specially painted for the Sussex Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (SASBAH) by well known local artist, John Davies.
Other local Sussex wintry views featured in the charity’s exclusive range are Chichester Cathedral Under Snow, a Sussex Farm and a delightful oil painting of cows in the snow specially painted for SASBAH by local artist Stephen Hawkins.
SASBAH is where charity really does begin at home – in Sussex – with over 450 people of all ages known to the charity with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, both of which are still very much with us and can occur separately or together.
SASBAH helps to make their lives happier and more independent.
Their Christmas cards, together with those of 17 other charities, are now on sale. Come and see them at the museum!
