Angry over loss of dinner ladies

What if one nine-year-old, out of 64,000 primary-aged children in West Sussex deprived of a hot meal in 1999, wrote a blog – and posted photographs – about the destruction of one of their 242 kitchens and dining areas in the county, with 500 dinner-ladies made redundant (“School dinner blog ban overturned”, BBC Ceefax, June 15).

It makes me wonder – and angry – and I am not alone.
