YOUNGSTERS from Horsham’s Headstart Day Nursery dressed up as explorers and animals for their Barnardo’s Big Toddle on Tuesday.

The nursery holds the event every year to raise money for the children’s charity.

It was decorated like a jungle and the children tucked in to swamp jelly and animal biscuits on completing the walk.

The children, aged between two and three, were accompanied by parents and nursery workers and walked half the way around Horsham Park before receiving their medals which were hanging from monkey bars.

Nationally, half a million children under five years of age take part in the sponsored walk which has so far this year raised £89,276.
