Woman cut free from car after A24 accident

A CAR left the A24, rolled into a field and ended up ‘30 metres’ from the road on Tuesday.

A woman, who was driving the silver Citroen saloon, had to be cut free from the car by firefighters using hydraulic rescue equipment and taken to hospital.

The accident happened on the southbound side of the road shortly before 2.15pm between the Southwater

roundabout and Buck Barn Crossroads during wet and windy weather conditions.
