WARNHAM’S historic village pub, The Greets Inn, in Friday Street has announced it is running a competition for one lucky couple to win a wedding reception worth an impressive £1,000.
Since taking the reins two years ago, owners Natalie and Duncan Entwistle have succeeded in firmly establishing The Greets on the region’s culinary map, serving a wealth of fresh and locally sourced Sussex produce. They have also created a beautiful English garden at the rear of the property, now an ideal back-drop for a quintessentially English, village wedding reception.
To enter, all you have to do is visit The Greets Inn for lunch or dinner (excludes Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes) before Friday August 12, 2011 and enjoy a special £20 menu for two - simply notify a staff member upon booking and/or arrival. You will then be asked to guess the weight of a specially prepared wedding cake, the creation of head chef at The Greets, Paul Lowe. Your name will be placed in to the draw, which will be made after the closing date.
“We may be bias, but ever since arriving here at The Greets, Duncan and I have always thought this to be a romantic place,” says Natalie Entwistle. “With its unique, rustic charm, The Greets Inn is perfect for anyone wishing to enjoy a beautiful English wedding breakfast. Whether it’s inside, under the heavy oak beams or outside in the picturesque garden, we believe that The Greets can provide a truly memorable ingredient to your special day.”
Included in the prize is wedding photography by the highly-talented Andrea Sarlo, who has appeared on TV show, ‘Don’t tell the bride’. There will also be two runners-up prizes of 25 per cent off the price of a Greets Inn reception. Terms and conditions naturally apply, a copy of which can be requested from a member of The Greets Inn team.
