OLD Oxford Roaders Association’s next meeting is being held, Oct 22, at the YMCA Football Club, Gorings Mead, Horsham, 7-10.30pm. TRANSITION Horsham is a group of volunteers following the ideas and vision of the Transition Towns movement set up in Totnes in 2006. This grass roots organisation believe in encouraging flexibility and resiliance in response to climate change, peak oil and economic shocks. It is all about building up community networks, sharing and learning new skills, cutting carbon emissions, eliminating waste and travelling lightly on the planet.
