Volunteers in Steyning raised more than £100 for Action for Children while collecting donations in the High Street last week.

The collection on Saturday August 15, organised by Cathy Evans, raised £132.35 for the charity. The permit holder was Ruth Dean.

Cathy said: “We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to those who gave up their time to collect and the people whose donations contributed to that total.

“Action for Children is a national charity that supports and speaks out on behalf of vulnerable children and young people.

“They have been transforming lives for 145 years.”
