The pupils of St Mary’s C of E (Aided) Primary School, Pulborough are performing their version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves to conclude the year on Thursday, July 11 and Friday, July 12 at 6pm.

The retelling of this famous fairy tale is helped along the way by songs, slapstick humour and the delightful setting of a circus Big Top.

Year six children are taking the lead roles with the rest of Key Stage Two supporting them in a musical version of the story.

Holding the production in a Big Top has become the highlight of the school year for the pupils.

A percentage of the money is raised by the children and the rest is paid for by the school’s amazing PTA.

This year’s programme was sponsored by Comyn and James Estate Agents and flowers donated by the local Sainsbury’s store.

The whole event has a wonderful community feel as many of the local residents come and see the play each year.

Tierney Beacher who plays Snow White said: “We have loved every minute of it especially wearing the costumes and stage make up.”

Tickets are available from the school - adults £4, senior citizens and children £2. Call 01798 872007 to check availability.
