The changes to Horsham’s West Street were officially unveiled this morning (Saturday November 16).
County councillor Brad Watson and Horsham District Council’s deputy leader Helena Croft carried out the formalities.
During the day there are a variety of events planned including walking tours and horse and carriage rides.
Horsham District Council and its partners at West Sussex County Council have invested more than £600,000 to revamp the town’s most popular street.
This major rejuvenation, which began in October, includes new signage and furniture, and a curvy pavement design capturing Horsham’s rich heritage of horses.
See Thursday’s West Sussex County Council for a full report.
