VIDEO: Eighties stars promote hospice’s Midnight Walk

Freddie Mercury, Cheryl Baker and Adam Ant were among the guests at the St Catherine’s Hospice shop in Horsham this afternoon (Tuesday) to promote the upcoming Midnight Walk.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the hospice, Siobhan Meaker, Jen Wickham and Michaela Clements dressed up as the pop stars because this year’s event has an Eighties theme.

Women taking part will be invited to don their leg warmers, fluorescent tops and shell suits for the annual event on July 13 when then can choose between a half marathon or seven mile walk starting in Horsham Park.

Davina McCall’s personal trainer Jackie Wren will once again be leading the warm up and if people register before May 31, they will be entered into the draw to win a workout session with Jackie and her husband Mark.

The Midnight Walk has been running for six years and £700,000 has been raised in that time for St Catherine’s Hospice.
