The annual award ceremony celebrates individuals in the area who do a lot of hard work to make sure this district is a special place to live.

16 different groups, charities and individuals from across the district received their awards at a packed Capitol theatre, in North Street, and most were left feeling ‘overwhelmed’ and ‘gobsmacked’ with the joy of winning.
