A 58-YEAR-OLD woman has died after plummeting from a ‘high level’ of Swan Walk multi-storey car park in Albion Way, Horsham.

Police and emergency services rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a woman having fallen from the car park at around 5.10pm yesterday (Wednesday 29 June).

Paramedics were seen ‘racing’ from an air ambulance that landed in Horsham Park at 5.23pm.

It took the service eleven minutes to attend the incident from their base in Dunsfold.

Sadly, the Horsham woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe the woman ‘may have fallen from the fourth level’ of the car park.

A police spokesman said the death was not being treated as suspicious and the matter had been referred to the Coroner’s Officer.

A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out within the next two days.
