Emergency services were called to three collisions after a man was airlifted to hospital following a bus and van crash on the A24.

A woman was taken to Worthing Hospital with minor injuries after a car collided with a tree in Old Rectory Lane, Pulborough at 8.50am.

Paramedics sent an ambulance and a response vehicle to the incident.

A woman and man, both aged 30, were inside the car, and the woman was taken to hospital for further assessment.

A car rolled in Broadford Bridge Road, West Chiltington, at about 8.55am.

A 23-year-old woman was reported trapped but managed to free herself. She had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Police were also called to a crash in Friday Street, Warnham, with officers warning the road is ‘extremely icy’.
