Tribute to William

TRIBUTES have flooded in for a Horsham teenager found dead at his home on Friday afternoon March 16.

William Shaw, 18, has been described by friends, colleagues and family as a popular, fun loving and caring young man.

A former prefect at the Forest School, in Comptons Lane, Horsham, William was discovered by his mother Nicola Shaw, 46, upstairs at their home, in Bowes Close, Horsham, at 2.30pm, Sussex Police and West Sussex coroner's officer Mick Harvey confirmed this week.

William was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are not treating his death as suspicious.

Nicola this week told horshamtoday her son would be greatly missed by everybody who knew him.

A box office assistant at the Capitol Theatre, in North Street, Horsham, Nicola said: "William was loveable, kind and caring.

"He was very popular and he did everything for a laugh, but most of all he was loving. I couldn't have wished for a better son than William. He looked after me so well. He was the best.

"We have already had over 100 entries on a memorial website set up for him, and the front room is full of cards and flowers.
