TRAVEL: Sussex travel news for Sunday

Roads across Sussex appear to be quiet for motorists this morning (Sunday, August 20), as the main routes are reporting no congestion.

However there is disruption in the west of the county as School Lane in Selsey is closed in both directions between the B2145 High Street junction and the Paddock Lane junction, because of a fire at Selsey Adacemy.

For those travelling by train throughout today, there are engineering works taking place, meaning some lines in Sussex are closed.

Passengers heading up to London via Hastings, Battle and Tunbridge Wells on Southeastern’s services, should be aware that engineering work is taking place between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge until 4am tomorrow (Monday, August 22).

All lines are closed, meaning there are rail replacement buses between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge.
