A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a collision on the A272, police said.

Emergency services were called to the collision at 7.37am this morning (March 24) on the A272 Bolney Road, in Ansty, between Bolney and Haywards Heath.

Police said the motorcyclist had collided with a car westbound towards Cowfold.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “The motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with a shoulder injury, but we are unsure how serious this is yet.”
