A 19-year-old man from Horsham was air lifted to hospital with ‘serious head injuries’ following a collision on the A24 in Warnham.
Emergency services attended the scene on Dorking Road at around 10.20am on Saturday December 3.
The teenager’s blue MG, which was travelling southbound, lost control on a right hand bend, clipped the kerb, causing it to skid sideways and collide with trees.
He was taken to Kings College Hospital in London.
No other vehicles were involved.
PC Mike Perkins from Chichester Road Policing Unit said: “All road traffic collisions are sad but even more so, when it involves someone so young.
“If you witnessed the collision or saw the MG prior to the incident please call Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Archer.”
