Two people were taken to hospital after a crash involving a camper van and a car with a trailer in Warnham yesterday (Tuesday March 17).

Emergency services including Sussex Air Ambulance were called to Marches Road at around 5.30pm.

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said the two drivers were taken to East Surrey Hospital.

He said: “One patient, the driver of a camper van which overturned or ended up on its side, suffered injuries including severe neck pain.

“The other, a man in his 20s, the driver of a car, was complaining of back and shoulder pain.

“He was fully conscious but was taken as a priority to East Surrey Hospital.”

Neither driver’s injuries are believed to be life-threatening, the spokesperson added.
