Pulborough collision death: woman officially identified

Police have officially released the name of the woman pedestrian who died after a collision with a heavy goods vehicle in Pulborough earlier this month.

She has been identified as Shirley Robinson aged 76.

Emergency services were called to Lower Street, Pulborough, at the junction with the A29, just before 7.30am on Thursday August 16, after the collision. Mrs Robinson of Station Road, Pulborough, died at the scene.

The 61-year-old driver of the HGV was uninjured.
