Some great feedback was received about this year’s Horsham Piazza Italia event, organised by Horsham District Council, through an online survey, where one lucky entrant won a bumper hamper from Bill’s restaurant in Horsham.
Claire from Horsham was randomly chosen from all the survey participants and selected as the winner of an elderflower hamper from Bill’s.
A great response was received from visitors to the event, which was held over the Easter weekend at the end of March and beginning of April, and some very positive feedback was received through the survey.
Over 160 surveys were completed at the event and online through social media.
Some great suggestions for improvements were made and these will be discussed at an upcoming meeting with the partners involved to talk about next year’s event.
Comments received included suggestions for more street food to be available as the restaurants in the town were busy on all three days as well as more children’s entertainers and more information about the cars.
Millais student Maddie Piper also won an exciting prize through Piazza Italia this year.
Maddie won a trip to new pancake and ice cream house Sugar and Snow in Piries Place, Horsham, after winning the Piazza Italia Poster competition.
A class of students studying Italian at Millais were given the opportunity to design posters as part of the Italian festival earlier this year and Maddie’s was chosen because it used thoughtful images to promote the weekend and the Italian that was used was excellent.
