The ANGLICAN chaplain for Surrey University will visit Horsham next Saturday May 26 at 1pm to talk about a new University multi-faith centre.

Canon Andrew Bishop, Anglican chaplain of Surrey University, will talk to the Horsham Interfaith Forum and members of the public at the Manor Room in the Causeway’s Church Centre.

Surrey University’s £7m multi-faith centre has been designed to meet the spiritual cultural and social needs of students and the wider community, a beautiful and inspiring new building that will bring young people together to develop the abilities for peaceful co-existence.

They hope it will be the most ambitious of its kind in the UK, with the potential for impact far beyond the University.

Rev Bishop is involved with pastoral care of students and the wider community, ministering at Guildford Cathedral while also playing an active part in promoting understanding of faith and between faiths.
