Winter looks to have finally lost its grip on the weather and temperatures could soar to 20degC by Friday next week (April 19) in the Horsham district.
Night-time temperatures, according to the Met Office, are set to remain well above freezing with a high of 9-10degC this Saturday/Sunday.
Heavy rain showers over the next couple of days could make it slightly colder but this Sunday (April 14) mid-afternoon temperatures could reach 15degC.
The outlook for the rest of the month is unsettled weather but plenty of sunshine and mild nights.
The recent cold easterly wind will move round to a warmer westerly direction.
