Home-Start Crawley, Horsham and Mid-Sussex (CHAMS) held their annual ‘Summer Outing’ at Holmbush Farm on June 28.
This is one of the events that the charity organises each year to celebrate their work supporting local families.
More than 25 of the families - including two sets of triplets and 5 sets of twins - that Home-Start CHAMS support came along to join in the fun accompanied by Volunteers, who usually visit them in their own homes and at group sessions each week.
Home-Start CHAMS works with families across the area where there is a least one child under the age of 5 and who need support. Running events such as the Summer Outing offers a real treat to the families, who might otherwise have few chances to get out and about.
Those who attended were able to enjoy the good weather again this year as they all came together for a group picnic and ‘sing-along’ time with Miranda Grainger, Group Worker at the charity.
Home-Start CHAMS would like to thank the Volunteers for their help on the day as well as their ongoing commitment.
