A floral designer from Storrington and long-standing Chelsea Flower Show competitor has won her third Silver-Gilt in the Floral Arrangement Awards.
Thirty-one entrants reached the final stage of judging and 51-year-old Louise Mosey won her award with a floral interpretation of ‘Press Release’.
She said: “It was fantastic especially considering it was the 100th year show. It was really enjoyable as it always is and is like a therapy for me.
“My twin sister Anne also won a Silver Gilt in the first session of the category. We enjoy getting together for a bit of us time and really support each other.”
Florist Louise, who also teaches Aspire Group adult education classes, has collected a number of awards over the years including two other Silver Gilts, Gold and Best in Show.
Friends of Louise, Gaenor and Philip Circus - chairman of HDC - from West Chiltington, saw the exhibit and award first hand when they visited Chelsea last week.
Gaenor said: “We are thrilled for Louise and very pleased that she was able to use some flowers from our garden in her creation.
