This summer, 1st Roffey Scout Group took part in the Horsham annual Riverside Walk.

It was a well attended event with Scouts, groups and individuals walking the thirteen miles to help raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. Cubs, Scouts and the families of 1st Roffey Scout Group raised £405 through sponsorship for this worthy charity.

On 13th October, Dawn Fairbrother from Alzheimer’s Society was invited to the Scout meeting to talk about Dementia and the work of the society. At the end of the talk, she was presented with a cheque for the money 1st Roffey Scouts had raised.
