CRIME novel fans are in for a treat as two authors are giving a talk about their work.
Organised by The Steyning bookshop historical mystery writer Cassandra Clark and modern thriller writer Ellie Griffiths will be taking part in the talk at Springwells Hotel, High Street, Steyning.
Cassandra has visited the town in the past with CJ Sansom and others in 2009 as part of the Steyning Festival. Her third novel in the popular Abbess of Meaux series is out in paperback now. Whereas, Brighton based author Ellie writes crime novels with an emphasis on forensic archaeology. Both authors have feisty female heroines and both place their plots in a very distinctive landscape, Cassandra’s in Yorkshire and Ellie’s in the Norfolk salt marshes.
The organisers said: “This should be an interesting evening for fans of crime-writing and for those who like to hear about the creative process of producing a novel.”
The event is tomorrow (Wednesday September 28) at 7.30pm.
