Lianna Haynes from Southwater has made it to the final of National Vintage Awards which will be in Birmingham tonight (Thursday June 19).
The the national awards ceremony has been created to celebrate the independent businesses who keep the vintage scene alive.
Lianna is a unique singer who specialises in performing music from the 1950’s and 60’s through to current chart hits as well as burlesque style songs.
She performs at venues all over the UK as well as burlesque and cabaret nights and as a lead singer for the acclaimed burlesque troupe ‘Once Upon A Tease’.
Lianna has a love for all things vintage especially the 1950’s era and she has designed and commissioned beautiful corsets and dresses to complete her vintage style.
After training at the BRIT School of Performing Arts and gaining a distinction in all areas of her musical theatre course Lianna made her professional stage debut in the touring 50’s and 60’s style musical ‘Battle of the Giants’ which premiered at The Shaw Theatre in London.
Most recently Lianna took her vintage style onto set to shoot a 1950’s style advert with David Beckham which will be shown in China later this year.
Lianna is extremely excited to have made it to the final of the National Vintage Awards and cannot wait to perform live.
She would also like to thank everybody who took the time to vote for her as it really does mean so much to her.
