Animals, Sochi Winter Olympic competitors and a giant telephone are taking part in Horsham’s annual Pancake Race this afternoon (Tuesday February 18).
Despite the gloomy weather more than 100 spectators are cheering on teams as they race for charity in the Carfax.
John Le Rossignol, of Horsham Rotary Club, which organises the event, said: “It is a fantastic day here in Horsham.
“We are standing in the Carfax where 30 teams of four people dressed in outlandish costumes are competing in the sixth annual Horsham pancake races all to raise money for charity.
“It’s just a fantastic atmosphere bearing in mind the weather we’ve had.”
