Shelley fountain - residents' views needed

A DECISION on the fate of Horsham's Shelley Fountain has been put on hold until a full picture of residents' views has been obtained.

Horsham District Council's cabinet had a fourth option before them last night (Thursday July 9) by council leader Robert Nye and voted in favour of waiting for the outcome of the County Times debate and widening out consultation as far as they could.

This was added to the officers' recommendations to repair it, fix the position of the globe or remove it completely.

Your chance to vote on the fountain's future here.
