PROPOSALS to demolish Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre have been made public within weeks of a new £20,000 sensory room opening there.

In its current newsletter, Horsham District Council boasts of the sensory room’s opening, explaining that it features specalist equipment for under 5s, disabled children and adults.

The £20,000 project was made possible by funding from Aiming High for Disabled Children and a partnership between DC Leisure and Horsham District Council.

In the same newsletter, the district council also proudly announces that the Grenada Olympic Association plans to use the leisure centre – which now faces closure at the end of next November - in the run-up to next year’s London Olympics.
