SCHOOL STRIKE LATEST: List of closed schools grows

THE NUMBER of schools in and around Horsham that will be closed next Thursday because of a teachers’ strike is growing.

18 primary and secondary schools across the Horsham district will be affected,

The following schools will be closed or partly closed on June 30.

Colgate Primary School; Horsham, will only be open for 1 class on Thursday June 30 (Cedar Class - mixed year four and five).

Holy Trinity CofE Primary School, Horsham, will be completely closed.

Jolesfield CofE Primary School, Horsham, will be completely closed.

Kingslea Primary School, Horsham, will be completely closed.

Loxwood Primary School, Billingshurst, will be completely closed.

Millais School, Horsham, will be completely closed.

Plaistow and Kirdford Primary School, Billingshurst, will partially closed. Years one, two and four will be open. Years reception, three, five and six will close.

Rydon Community College, Pulborough, will be completely closed.

Shelley Primary School, Horsham, will be completely closed.

St Andrew’s CofE Primary School, Steyning, will be completely closed.

St Mary’s Church of England Primary School, Pulborough, will partially close, three classes will be shut. Check with the school for further details.

St Mary’s CofE (Aided) Primary School, Horsham, will be completely closed.

Steyning Grammar School, Steyning, will be completely closed.

Storrington First School, Pulborough, will be completely closed.

Tanbridge House School, Horsham, will be completely closed.

Thakeham First School, Pulborough, will be partially closed. There will be two classes open and one closed.

The Forest School, Horsham, will be completely closed.

Upper Beeding Primary School, Steyning, will partially close on Thursday June 30. Reception and key stage one classes will be open as normal. Key stage two classes will not be open due to industrial action.
